Applied design round table
For the Design Toolkit community, the people behind WIAD Greece (Ad Axem, US Mission and our guest from far away lands (Tobias Van Schneider) design is more than making things, people and places pretty.
Applied design is a playground for the “work hard and be nice to people” crowd, a place to be reminded of how considerate and professional your peers can be, watching you confront hard problems, big and small
So the distinguished designer and art director Tobias Van Schneider (Spotify, Memomi, Semplice) along with their Greek colleagues Michael Provelengios (Proplusma Arkitektones), Janet Petropoulos (president Greek Graphic Designers Association), Stavros Damos (illustrator , graphic designer) George Theodorou (graphic designer, visual artist, professor AKTO) and Elias Study (web designer) will discuss how the growth of the creative economy is directly dependent on the fruitful dialogue, constant interaction and healthy competition. In short, how a vision can become reality.
The meeting was free of charging while all attendees had the change to share their experience and have a creative fruitful dialogue with the guests.
At the End as a conclusion of the meeting could be the phrase «working by ourselves is too little» So becoming a better designer is working with others, share ideas and experience
